I concede, may be because I've not followed closely but I've gotten the opposite
impression. It seems like anymore there's only one superstar and a bunch of almost nameless role-players on the bad teams, and two superstars and a bunch of almost nameless role-players on the good teams.

It was never like that before. I can think of 5 or 6 teams from the 80s and 90s that I could name 8-deep on, and they were all big contributors. When I see highlights on tv, I see a dozen LeBron highlights, see he got 32 points, and wonder where the other 70 points came from.
