and think they know more about how good a kid is than the coaching staff. My guess is that Rose took numerous trips to see him as well as other coaches. These guys get paid well to know high school talent and how well it converts. They certainly have a good track record which is even higher with guards.

Certainly not all players pan out, but some of the posts today on how you "know" he isn't going to make it are downright laughable. I'll put my trust in coach Rose and staff. Unless the real Coach K took some time off from preparing for Michigan St to post on Cougarboard then the coaching staff does know more than the posters on this board.
