i was working construction right out of HS and just didn't follow safety protocol. I never wore my hardhat and "lost" my orange vest on multiple occasions. I also punched a hole in a giant water main with a backhoe (only partially my fault, i was told to dig in the spot but I should have told him to keep digging with his shovel).

I was a hard worker though and they just transferred me to a different part of the business where my disregard for osha wasn't such a liability for the company.
