more good plays that year than most remember. His coverage was terrible at times (good receivers will do that to guys they have an edge on), but his overall containment was decent, & his run support was very good at times. He's always been a solid open field tackler.

I gained a lot of respect for him that year. It was obvious he hated giving up those big plays, but he never put his head down--he always fought threw it, & as I recall he ended every game better than he started. He also improved quite a bit over the season.
