It all depends on how hard you choose to work
Here's the scholarship GPA matrix:
https://financialaid.byu.edu/former-continuing-student-scholarships
It stays roughly the same every year, maybe changes by 0.01. They award scholarships for an entire academic year every winter semester I believe, so whatever your cumulative GPA is coming out of fall is the GPA they use.

I renewed mine all 4 years. Had to maintain a 3.7 basically. This was early 90's
