Utah guarantees road games vs top opponents AND top home games vs top opponents. BYU can say "we believe we will be P5 during your time at BYU and we believe we will schedule top tier opponents" and Utah can say "we are P5 and we ARE playing top tier opponents".

Playing ND (who is not on the schedule yet and who Utah played in 2010) or Michigan (one time, who Utah played last year) does not overcome a PAC 12 schedule. BYU's 2014 schedule was embarrassing, 2015 if embarrassing at home (the road is solid but it is one year and there are no guarantees going forward).

To say Utah does not have a MASSIVE advantage regarding scheduling is silly as it is guaranteed year in and year out they will have top tier games......if you disagree maybe you should call TH and mention BYU is good as is and no reason to join a P5 conference given LDS kids only care about road games.
