1. (Newly-wed): My fiance and I moved everything into our first apartment.
2. (Down the street): I was working so my wife and her Dad moved just about everything down the street from our apartment to our first house. I think I helped with a couch and the bed.
3. (Cross-country): U-haul truck. I invited a couple EQ friends to help me load big stuff after work one evening while I took the day off to get all the small stuff loaded. My wife had just given birth 2 weeks earlier, so she was excused from loading duty. The loading of the truck went faster than I thought, and I just kept going on my own. Loaded everything myself with the exception of one wardrobe, which I managed to get to the front porch. I waited for the first neighbor to show up and help me load the last piece, and we were done.
4. (Cross-country): Mayflower
5. (Cross-town): I honestly don't remember this move at all. Weird. Maybe I sat on the deck while the EQ did all the work, but I doubt it.
6. (Cross-state): United
7. (Cross-country): United. Even put one of the cars in the moving truck - that was convenient.
