That's been my thoughts on Independence. Part of what makes bowl games fun and winnable for the little guy is the unfamiliarity with the teams.

Bronco has to almost start over with every team he faces. What I saw out of Utah was a team getting used to their opponents and figuring them out, when it comes to talent and coaches on opposing teams, over time. You can only do that in a conference.

I think we'd probably get killed the first few years in a P5 conference, but figure it out pretty fast. That's just my opinion of course from what I've observed.
