Look at the email they sent and see if it has a "guaranteed ship date" listed.
If it is guaranteed on a certain day and delivered late, they will hook you up. If the guaranteed date is just later than you thought it should be they'll probably defend it as legitimate due to handling delays or something. But they may still hook you up. Online chat is definitely the best way to go.
