What if Kresimir Cosic had agreed to play for Auerbach in NBA? He might have
gone down as an NBA all-time great! Of course, he possibly would not have translated the BM into Croatian, or served as the key diplomat to secure USA support for Croatia, opened up Eastern European missions, won the gold medal in the 1980 Olympics, mentored all of those future NBA stars out of Europe, or otherwise become the BB legend in Europe.
But he would have been a bigger LDS hero in this country, which was not his goal.
