So my wife goes to Costco. Total Disaster. The guy can't get clear vision for my wife's contacts. She tells him her problem and he is a total yewt. Basically tells her she is imagining it because he has examined her eyes - gave the impression he is beyond reproach.

She called the next day and he was totally insulting. She told him about her astigmatism (or whatever you call it). He says he measured it and it doesn't exist. Surprisingly, he calls her old optometrist. Her old optomestrist tells him what she measured, but apparently didn't instruct him on how to fix it...

Wife calls on day three telling him she has blurry vision and it is giving her headaches. Then she realizes he overcharged her an extra $20 because "eventually she will need the more expensive exam, so he charged her for it." He tells her he won't refund her in full, but will refund the overcharge of $20. Along the way, makes my wife feel totally like an idiot, like she is crazy because his examination was "a good service".

She goes to another doctor today, in a short period of time, other doctor gets everything resolved with the correct prescription and lenses. No blurry vision any longer. Now we are out the $100 from Costco, plus the $150 from the optometrist that actually gave decent service...

I know a lot of you had good experience in Utah. We are not out west, but our guy here in Ballwin, MO pretty much sux.

Apparently the guy used to work at this place: http://peposevision.com/ - supposedly one of the premier group of eye doctors in the country.

Now he works at Costco.
