Pac 12 tried at least twice to secure permission to hold a CCG with only 10 teams. They cycled through eight teams before finally settling on Colorado and Utah. You really think they're going to allow the Big 12 to have a CCG without 12 teams? When they had to add Colorado and Utah??

The B1G spent nearly two decades hoping for Notre Dame, the ACC obliterated another conference, the SEC just laughed and said sure, Missouri is southeast enough...and oh, we'll own Texas as well now, okay?
