recruits who end up good & even great collegiate players--but who never have the right genetic or physical foundation to build into pro players.
IMO, this is by far the biggest reason why Utah & even USU send more to the league. More recruits in their given classes have the raw speed & athleticism--but either played different positions in HS, or just never tapped into their raw talent. I fully believe our coaches could do just as well with such players, but we just don't land enough of that sort to get the occasional kid who exceeds expectations.
