I did BigLaw for 6 years out of law school. It was soul crushing work
However, it was fantastic for the resume. I now have what I consider to be the perfect in-house job for my field, and there is no way I could have this job without doing BigLaw first (i.e., they only hire from BigLaw). Looking back it was painful, but it has paid off in spades.
