My three year old woke up last night and stayed up for the majority of the night as delusional as the "BYU to win a NC" fan. She was freaking out thinking there was a snake in her room. My wife stayed with her almost the entire night assuring her there wasn't a snake. Later she would say weird things like, "whose house are we in" and "who is the lady watching me." Shes never had any weird actions like this, but she stayed up until 5:00 when she finally fell asleep.

I hoped it would go away this morning but she woke up still skiddish about the snake. She did see a snake a few days ago, but it was on the road dead. I don't know if that somehow tramatized her. She also had a fever that we are treating with Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Anyone else's kids ever freak out like this? It wasn't a night terror or nightmare, we have seen those before.
