Problems solved? On the contrary, the biggest problems in BYU sports history would just be on the verge. Think Crowton's liberties came with consequences? Can you imagine Urban or Saban dealing with the HC?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Or, how 'bout any of the dozens of up-in-coming coaches who might actually consider BYU? These are the types that are looking to cut the fat & the corners to achieve the best product possible. So we can be sure that the best of these would take no more than a passing glance at BYU & its inherent roadblocks & headaches.
As for Bronco, he's solved some huge problems at BYU that no other coach before him even fiddled with. Yes, I think the guy has significant managerial & people-skills flaws (as do a lot of other good HCs across the land--many of whom haven't shown improvement like Bronco has). I've gone through seasons (including just this last) where I hoped aloud for better, but ultimately I'm kept in longterm check by the dearth & risk wrapped up in the available options for his replacement.
