Don’t forget Penn State.
We don’t need to be told that God, Church, Education, Family, and maybe even Fireside Chats are more important than Football. We know this. We have values. We don’t need to have a coach teach us these values. We get it.
There is such a thing as diversion, some fun, some wholesome entertainment, a hobby, or anything to help us have a well balanced life that is healthy and keeps us out of mental hospitals.
I think that one reason that the state of Utah has more per capita, of it’s citizens in mental hospitals than any other state in the union, is because we do not have enough diversion in our lives. We do not have enough balance in our lives. We do not take the time to fantasize enough in our lives. We try to be perfect in the areas of Loving God, Church, Education, Family, and maybe even Fireside chats, and we don’t take the time to let other important things in our lives that gives us balance and a strong mental health.
That is my opinion and I expect a lot of negative response by those that feel much holier than the rest of us that also loves the sport of BYU College Football.
