very few of these guys (UDFA, ect) actually make the team. He had a mini camp try-out and basically got a non-guaranteed contract similar to what Fua and others got after the draft.. It's a small step forward but far from actually making the roster and seeing the majority of that money.

But, it might be more than what most were expecting, though most wouldn't think guys like Apo and Povey would also get looks. But hopefully some of them can stick it out including Heaps.
