Correct. He is actually such a good "practice" QB I could see him making a
roster at 3rd or 4th string, since he would never get real game action. It is possible he could make a career out of it.
Not sure if he would have to play "meat squad" QB in practice though. That could weed him out pretty quickly I guess.
