when i worked for BYU, I learned that departments within BYU have to pay for the use of different buildings. I guess I just a ssumed that BYU departments would be able to use different facilities for free. They don't.

good chance the intramural (and even fhe) usage is bought and paid for by some department. or that there was some sort of agreement with the AD.

i doubt this is as big a deal as people are making it
