Sure I was disappointed with last year's close losses, but I go back to ask what we can do about it?

Does it work long-term to have the head coach be DC indefinitely?

If Taysom is healthy we probably win a couple more games, but is it coaches' fault he goes down?

Are there any temple-worthy coaches out there that'd guaranty us better than 8-5 long term? After the next 2 years we may be pining for the good old days of 8-5. If that happens, is it evidence of a decline? Not really--we're just have a big boy schedule.

I think there have been some questionable decisions (going for 2 at BSU? Icing the kicker in Miami?), and I *really* think, if it's true, the coaches need to change their recruiting philosophy that kids need to really want to come to BYU (what other school could afford to be that cocky? You've got to sell it). But Bronco and team put out a good product, and unless Andy Reid suddenly wants to coach BYU, I don't see a guaranteed way to improve the record.

So yes I'd love to go undefeated, and anything else feels frustrating. But I've got some great memories, even from the last few seasons. Can't wait to see a healthy Taysom vs. Nebraska, MI, BSU and USU this year.
