I don't mind the development, but I disagree with most of your post.
These kids will generally have a much higher ceiling than a two star kid and a much lower floor. They're probably even more likely to not contribute than a two star, but could also become stars. I wouldn't count on either of these guys contributing before a redshirt junior season. If they do, then that's just gravy.
