The more of those 2 star guys you, the more chance you hit on a few
its about maximizing opportunities. If I were you guys, I wouldnt mind taking a chance on a project guy here and there. But if it were a couple scholarships per season that would bother me.
I think your percentages are way off...if they were accurate, half of each recruiting class (of non elite schools) would be project guys. Per your percentages, that would produce 4-5 great players per class. Just because a guy is gigantic and "moves well for his size" doesnt mean he is going to be good at football.
