There are almost 10 times as many KFCs as Chick-fil-As in the U.S. alone. This past year alone KFC added 200 new locations. KFC has the backing of the biggest fast food corporation in the world (by number of locations -- second biggest by revenue), not to mention that there are KFCs in over 100 countries. It would take years if not decades for Chick-fil-A to come close to the footprint and impact KFC has.

Some will suggest I'm saying I like KFC. I don't. My first job was as a dishwasher at KFC. I will never eat there again, whereas I eat at Chick-fil-A weekly. But it's just not realistic to suggest that KFC is getting its butt kicked by Chick-fil-A using any objective data or measurement.
