I wonder if this was the game you were at. I remember Dr. J bringing the ball straight down the middle of the floor on the break. Purvis Short was waiting for him at just inside the free throw line. Another Warrior -- maybe Larry Smith (I cannot remember) was a little deeper in the paint. Dr J palmed the ball with the right hand as he took off around the free throw lane and launched past Short now to his left. In mid air, he switched the ball to his left hand and twisted 90 degrees to slide past Smith on his right and flushed it left handed. I remember Bill King screaming he had never seen anything like it.

Unfortunately, I never saw Dr J live.
