It's not impossible - It's pretty simple
Give your customers a quality product or service at a fair price and they'll come back. I'm as price-sensitive as the next guy, but there are a few places that I'm loyal to because they've given me good service at fair prices (my dentist, car mechanic, plumber, Costco, Discount Tire are examples). In the case of individuals I'm loyal to, they'll have to retire before I switch providers. In the case of retailers, they would have to significantly change their business models before I'd abandon them.
