You pull up to a red light and are in the far right lane in your vehicle. There is a designated bicycle lane to your right. You come to a complete stop, you have your turn signal on, are you obligated to check your passenger side mirror for on coming bicycles coming from behind you?
Change the red light tons green light are you still responsible to check passenger side mirror and ye old to any bicycles coming up from behind you and to your right?

This happens frequently at stop lights where you are in your car waiting and then the light turns green or cars in front of you have proceeded to turn right in front of you and it's your turn... And a bicycle has snuck up from behind you.

This has happened a couple times to me in my car and I've seen some pretty close calls a number of other times.
