Bike lane. It is to be treated as a vehicle lane of traffic. So when you approach a street that you want to turn right on the vehicle should merge into the bike lane 50-200 ft before the corner and then make the turn. 'Turn from the curb' is what they call it. So the term bike lane is a little misleading because many vehicle drivers (at least that I know) think the bike lane is dedicated just for bicycles.
