It's probably more similar to dental hygiene than it is dental school

Dental school is very similar to medical school in the curriculum and science courses you take. I've never heard of any chiropractic programs that are even close to them. But from what I've heard chiropractic programs vary drastically which is another reason why the profession is a joke.
