Scottie,

Do you like playing teams like we have been playing since 2013?
Do you like playing, this season in 2015, Nebraska, Boise State, UCLA Michigan and Missouri this season?
Do you like the idea that we are playing in 2016, Arizona, Utah Utes, UCLA, West Va., Michigan State, Mississippi State, Boise State, and Southern Miss. The next season, that follows in 2017 include LSU, Utah Utes, Boise State, UMass. Do you, like playing these teams?
Do you like playing Arizona, Washington, Utah Utes, and Wisconsin in 2018?
Do you like playing in 2019, Va., USC, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin along with what seems to be our new rival, Boise State?
Year after year until 2027, we are having pretty much the same SOS or better.
If you like this, instead of playing teams like SDS, Fresno State, San Jose State, Wyoming, New Mexico, UNLV and the like, than we must give our coaches and our AD, time to get use to playing the stronger competition.

These are our growing pain years. During the time that it takes us to we get use to playing the stronger competition, our 12-0 season expectations are over. Until we get use to playing the stronger competition, our 11-1 expectations, and our 10-2 and our 9-3 expectations are unrealistic.

In fact, until we get use to playing the stronger SOS teams, our 8-4 expectations will take the place of our old 12-0 expectations and our
7-5 expectations will take the place of the old 11-1 or perhaps 10-2 expectations. and our 6-6 goal with the new SOS will probably be more realistic like the 9-3 seasons or 8-4 seasons that we had with the weaker SOS seasons of old.

Yes, these are our growing pains. (No pain, no gain). It is necessary if we are to survive as a significant college football team to go through these growing pains. To retreat, is telling the world that we do not want to work for that which we want by not working. We want to be respected as a P5 team but we want that respect without working for it. That is uneducated crybaby talk that is disgusting to the rest of the football world.

We need to give our Coaches a lot of slack. We need to give our AD a lot of slack.

We need to give them time to get us ready for the big event. (P5 status).
But a message from the fans is a reminder that it did not take TCU or Utah Utes forever to reach their goal once that goal was in site. We fans must all be patient for the next few years, and after that, the coaches must be ready to avoid the wrath of the fans.
