Luke Staley (Luuuke Staley), and Harvy Unga were too great QB’s.
They were more unalike than they were alike.
I can’t see how a weight lifting contest could show one as being greater or lesser than the other.
One was shifter, leaner, and perhaps a bit faster, while the other was more like a bull dozer that was hard to bring down.
They were both extremely successful and to be honored. One was more accident prone, but also the one that got the Doak Walker Award and brought us to a #5 in the Nation Ranking.
The other, had less injuries, and was more likely to finish the season healthy.
Both of these guys are the pride of BYU and I see no need in making one better than the other.
