we're talking about the same idiotic conf that allowed power programs like Neb and TAMU to leave. they also pissed off a solid Mizzou team that really added more to conf than they appreciated (fball and bball) and threw away a great market (CU) even though the athletic program was in shambles.

their answer to this mass exodus was to ignore the obvious choice, louisville, and instead add WVU out of no where and TCU, which adds zero tv markets they don't already control and apparently happened after a round of drinks.

i honestly believe B12 will never add BYU (because it makes too much sense to do so) and will very likely implode b/c of stubbornness. BYU's best chance of P5 is P12...which really makes me want to jump off a cliff.

only way i see that happening is if B12 implodes and B12 teams move east, starting the "power 4". P12 would then be scrambling to add so they pick up BYU. this would be facilitated if they could some create a football separation and add teams like BSU and BYU as football only entities for purposes of CFP while leaving their other teams in WCC and MWC respectively. a lot of "ifs" in there...
