They are a slowly sinking ship. It may seem stable right now, but new storms will come in a few years and I predict they will go under.

The only think keeping it alive, is that the co-captains (Texas and Oklahoma), are willing to do down with the ship because they don't want to lose the power and authority.

As Nashty pointed out, they have alienated very good programs, added programs of little value, and refuse to conform to the current market trends. Sure, they are still making money now, but when the next expansion wave hits, the B12 will be eaten up bit by bit from other conferences.
