you will see that I wrote a post about a week ago that was pretty incriminating of the officiating in general during this World Cup. All I was pointing out is that the two calls which were the most high-profile and probably the most blatantly missed - considering the referee was in the correct position to make both calls - both favored the US.
At the end of the day, though, the US was definitely the better team both in the run of play and tactically.
