What would be more telling to the B12 that they need to expand than if the unlikely scenario came about that the 4th team in the playoff was BYU.

As unlikely as that scenario would be (undefeated and dominant performances by BYU necessary of course) it sure would force them to reconsider expansion. Not saying it would mean said expansion would include BYU for sure but the B12 members would certainly be frustrated with their plight if that were to happen...
