RE: Believe it or not the Pac-12 may have more issues with BYU than the Big 12
I live in California.

I have not missed a UCLA vs. USC game in 45-50 years. I always pray that this game comes at a time when we at BYU are playing a FCS team which I refuse to watch on TV, or listen to on the radio, much less attend the game. (No money is ever spent on this kind of a game). (No respect is ever gained by playing this kind of a game.)

For me, having BYU, that wants into a P5 conference , using a FCS team to beat up on, is not only contradictory, unfair, but also immoral, using that FCS team in order to assure and additional win instead of playing real competition to earn that win, is just not consistent with my value system.

Not accepting responsibility for scheduling FCS teams, where it is always somebody else's fault and never our own, due to programing situations, or TV programing is not believable to me. Just say no !!! (Reminds me too painfully of the War in Heaven)

Having said all of that, more than any other conference play, but not as much as BYU play, I love the pac 8/10/12 the most and hope that someday soon, it will expand to 14/16 which I most desperately would want us to be a part of, having the 14 part edition to include BYU and Boise State.

Our AD being respected in the Pac 12, having been the head coach of Cal, not long ago, but during the Crowton era, should be making any political compromises necessary to get us into that conference. Even to the point of promising not to be political in any Pac 12/14/16 state.
