i think so. Two concerns: one increases; one should diminish:
1. Age. KC will be 24 and the NBA says the data tells them that the older ones don't work out too well. They like them under 20-21.
2. His ACL and family history so durability is a risk.
My belief is that the outside shot issue is way overblown. KC gets to the rim so well, passes well, rebounds well and is so versatile in how he can defend multiple positions effectively, his shot will be considered an incidental issue.
Wait until you see him this year. He is much quicker, stronger, and more explosive than last season when he was more concerned about managing his ACL recovery.
