Nebraska isn't going to admit it made a mistake. Especially since it wasn't a mistake. Better money. More prestige. No Texas prima donna. Infinitely greater stability.
Maybe you lose a pipeline to Texas. More important, you lose the rivalry with Oklahoma.
But the crap games in the B10 aren't any worse than the crap games in the B12. And if Nebraska can get over the Wisconsin hump, it has an easy path.
It's not just about not wanting to admit you were wrong. It's that the reasons it was a good decision are still valid.
All this talk about Nebraska having regrets is coming from talking heads with short memories. My wife's family is in Nebraska, and I've never heard any regret from them or anyone else when I've been out there.
