Don't go overboard traveling to a QB coach
If there is one in your area that's convenient then that's a good option. He's too young to spend a lot of time traveling. Send him to local college camps and they can clue him in to what he needs to work on. Spend a ton of time throwing with him. It's wise to purchase a set of QB shoulder pads (QB specific shoulder pads allow free motion of the throwing arm while others can limit the motion) to use when practicing throwing. Shoulder pads affect throwing mechanics significantly. If he learns to throw without them he could be up a creek the second he puts them on. Always wear a jersey with the shoulder pads.

Besides throwing he needs to spend a lot of time working on two things initially: First while I realize he's going to run a spread but it's important that he learn to take a snap from center. You'd be surprised how difficult this can be when a QB has a ton of other stuff going through their head. Hand position is key. Do NOT put the base of the hands together. The only pieces of the hands that should be touching are the tips of the thumbs. The second thing is the release step. By this I mean the first step as the ball is received from center. This step puts the QB in position to drop and throw or hand the ball off. These two things must become second nature so that the brain can be processing more important things.
