The point is that not only are these type of events not funny, these are real people in real situations, and they happen all over the nation. I used the brawl as an example, but I could generate a list a mile long just for BYU if needed. Why would you ever find something like this amusing? It wasn't funny when Max Hall's issues were recently publicized nor is it funny when any amateur athlete is held to this level of scrutiny (especially as a kid in college).
