What on earth was he thinking? Just screams of egomaniac. He could have been like the LDS young woman who had won a national pageant who refused to wear an immodest dress for photos. He could have said he was not interested in taking naked swings in the batting cage with women present before rolling cameras. The guy didn't have to "play ball" with ESPN. He's a legitimate star who doesn't have to do what ESPN says. He could have stood for something. Too bad. The guy is so blessed with talent. Hopefully one day he will get a handle on it all (and by that I mean gaining an understanding of what is most important in life). He'll one day regret the day he did soft porn in the batting cage. No way to live that down.
