He is 23 years old, has improved every year he has been in the league. He plays good-great defense. He is a team first guy that is a good teammate and doesn't complain or cause trouble. By all accounts he is an extremely hard worker and competetive (in a way that doesn't belittle his teammates like CP3, RW, DWill, Cousins, Rondo, etc...) seem to. He makes only 11 million. He could easily have done what Hayward did and tested the market and gotten a near if not max deal last year in FA, but chose to take less money to help keep the core together.

He is already a 18/9 guy (may have more rebounds if it wasn't for Gobert) and again, he's only 23. There is good reason to like him and be happy he's here. Cousins is probably a better player than him, but would anyone rather have him than Favors on the Jazz?
