I remember reading that Robert Anae said that this year we wouldn't let up even if we were up big, that we'd keep going hard and fast so as to not interrupt our rhythm. Does anyone else remember this?
My father in law thinks that one of the reasons BYU struggles is that, as members of the LDS church, we have it engrained in us to be nice and turn the other cheek. That it's hard for us to compete too much so as to not embarrass our competition, and that's one of the reasons we don't have a win-first mentality. I tend to agree.
So to hear Dr Anae say that we won't let up is important.
