With that said, what is he still doing in Provo?
Just his dedication to the school? It sounds more and more like it isn't football related as there have been better offers elsewhere without all the restrictions at BYU. The pressure is clearly there in one form or multiple forms from the school, fans, media, etc. So is he just playing the role of mission president/coach/catholic nun?

Bottom line, he has too many conflicting directives at BYU and it is obvious they are not healthy for him or his family as he has felt compelled to stay when he could have left. In essence he is a prisoner at a place he loves, but he doesn't have the freedom to leave?
