Im not trying to argue, but seriously do you really think academic freedom is not an issue? I mean CB literally does not even allow certain questions to be asked. ASKED! And BYU is like 10x more restrictive. Imagine if a BYU professor simply asked in a poll of students about their sexual activity. Or if a professor asked about belief in the origins of the church. Or if a professor simply wrote an a book on JS polygamous relationships with underage girls. They would be out. Thrown out. This is what the rest of the world sees. Now i know you have had some "edgy" discussions in class from time to time, but publishing anything that isn't within the party line will get you tossed. That is not considered academic freedom by the overwhelming majority of institutions. You may argue, but you are in the extreme minority.
