I would love for this to become a rivalry! Competitive games and proximity!
Wins over Boise St. when Hill and Mangum (Idaho products) are at the helm will add some fuel to make it a rivalry!
I would also like to see Hawaii back on the annual schedule.
IMO, there are ingredients at our disposal to make P5 independence a reality. If we can get annual rivalry games with BSU, USU, and Hawaii, plus a frequent rivalry game with Utah - sprinkle in 2 or 3 other PAC 12 opponents and 2 or 3 Big Ten, ACC, Big 12, and SEC opponents - we will have a solid 8 or 9 game base schedule to work with. Then, to play ECU, Cincinnati, Houston, or UCF will add additional flavors to make exciting and competitive schedules that we don't complain about as much and that give us some credence on the national stage.
