Utah is our #1 rival and always will be. They've always been a big game for us and I can't wait until we play them again.
Utah State has to be our #2 rival. I remember in 1965 when Virgil Carter was our quarterback. We finally after all those many years beat Utah State. We, the students tore down on the field and mobbed the players. Carter and everyone was shouting we're number one and so forth. Also Carter was dating a cute BYU cheerleader, Judy Green. He shouted to her, that game was for you Judy. Yes, Utah State is our #2 rival. We have to keep the rivals in the family (state of Utah)
Boise State, I like for our #3 rival and maybe it will grow into more. They are just much better than us as we have only beaten them once in the years we've played them. Not bad for only a few years out of being a junior college. Congratulations Boise State!!
