Pod 1: ISU, KSU, Kansas
Pod 2: WVU, Cincy, UCF
Pod 3: OSU, OU, UT, Tech
Pod 4: TCU, Houston, Baylor, BYU
Years 1 & 3: Pods 1 & 3; Pods 2 & 4
Years 2 & 4: Pods 1 & 4; Pods 2 & 3
Play everyone in your pod (2-3 games) plus everyone in the cross-over pod (3-4 games) and rotate 2 or 3 games (depending on whether 8 or 9 game conference schedule) among Pod 1 v. Pod 2 and Pod 3 v. Pod 4. This ensure that you play everyone in the conference at least twice in four years. It also ensures that everyone is playing in Texas every year and that WVU and Cincy play in Florida every other year.
So, Year 1 & 3 (just reverse home and away):
NORTH: ISU, KSU, Kansas, OSU, OU, UT, Tech
SOUTH: WVU, Cincy, UCF, TCU, Houston, Baylor, BYU
Year 2 & 4 (reverse home and away):
NORTH: ISU, KSU, Kansas, TCU, Houston, Baylor, BYU
SOUTH: WVU, Cincy, UCF, OSU, OU, UT, Tech
etc.
The CCG participants don't have to be North v. South. The pods and lineups for scheduling purposes only. The CCG is the teams with the best win-loss records - with tie breakers for head-to-head and CFP rankings, etc.
