RE: I've heard he didn't like the way he was being recruited.
Bolles loves the Y. His two uncles played and and so does his cousin currently.

1. He wants to play in the NFL and Garrett feels that other programs will get him there better. (Ie. Better competition in SEC and promises for early playing time)..
2. He likes coaches at the Y but other schools have really rolled out the red carpet. Big schools have been calling and have shown some serious love.
3. Doesn't need the BYU experience as much now that he's engaged. Can really go anywhere now.
4. Facilities at some other schools are pretty amazing for athletes which is very appealing.
5. His fiancée also has a voice now in this decision.

At the end of the day, BYU needs to win big games this season, focus on getting guys in the NFL, get into a conference and show some serious love to land these caliber of recruits. The LDS atmosphere card is less effective when you'll be married and you have a goal for the NFL. Also, nobody is gonna say, your education sucks because you only went to Auburn. I went to the Y and understand the caliber of the education but I can see how he'd think he's better off with focusing on the school who can help him get to the NFL and even if it was at the cost of a slightly inferior education that nobody will blink an eye about.

There is a lot of time left here. Hope BYU continues to recruit hard and win big this season. Marriage plans could change too which could be at play here. Lots of time left which is good because we have a lot of making up to do.
