Hmm. Maybe some truth here.

Probably more to do with wanting the NFL more than anything. If you were married and close to your fulfilling your NFL dream would you choose a) big school in an awesome conference with a strong track record of getting players in NFL and very good/good education or b) awesome church school and environment with an amazing /very good education but less likely to make it in the NFL because of outside perception for NFL scouts, no conference and not the staff's main focus?

To me it depends on my confidence in being able to immediately start at one of the big schools. If I know I could start, I might make a run at my NFL dreams and fall back on my very good/ good education.

With this said, hope Bolles chooses the Y because I think BYU really needs him and is a big missing puzzle piece to becoming a very good team again. The Y can't keep loosing these players. We have to WIN and develop NFL talent to be a great CFB team. Period....there is no other way. A P5 conference would help meet these two goals because we already have enough limitations with recruiting.
